Remove folder options

open run and then type "gpedit.msc"
now go to user configuration.>administrative templates>windows component>windows explorer,click on windows explorer you fill find the 3rd option on the right side of the screen"removes the folder option menu//item from the tools menu"just chek it,if ts is not configured then change it to enable by double clicking on it and after applying again set it to not configured

Disable your control panel

For those who need to keep u friends away from investigating you computers this trick may be helpfull.

Run--->.gpedit.msc-->admin templates--->control panel--> prohibit acess to control panel by ticking on enable..

you can get back again by ticking on disable

Enable your disabled Right clicks

Sometimes, due to some viruses or worms, your system may disable the Right click context menu.

That is, nothing happens when we right click on any place.

Use this steps only after removing all viruses and bugs from your computer.Otherwise, this method may not work.

Steps to resolve:

1. From the Start menu, select Run.

Type gpedit.msc and click OK.

2. Get to this location:

User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer

3. In the right pane double click on :

Remove Windows Explorer's default context menu

block unwanted sites

For eg you want to block www.xyz.com !




* Open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc


* There you will find a file named HOSTS


* Click on the file and press SHIFT and now right click on it .


* From the right click menu select Open with .


* Now, select Notepad to open the file from the list !


* Now, in the file under the line 127.0.0.1 localhost add another line as 127.0.0.2 www.xyz.com.


* Now, File>>Save !


For unblocking just follow the same procedure vice versa...!!!!!

shortcut.[Remember only this shortcut will run multiple
instances,others wont be able to unless you edit their properties same
as we are going to do now]
Now go to properties
In the target box,you will find something like this “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe”
Now
add -nomutex at the end of text in Target with a space.It will now
become like “C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe”
-nomutex.im showing the same in the figure also
Click Ok and you are done
Now
double click on the shortcut and you will see one more instance of
Gtalk running on your PC. You can do the same even for other gtalk
shortcuts in your pc.

BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY

Before you edit the registry, export the keys in the registry that you plan to edit, or back up the whole registry. If a problem occurs, you can then follow the steps how-to restore the registry to its previous state.




How to Export Registry Keys


Click Start, and then click Run.


In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.


On the File menu, click Export.


In the Save in box, select the boxs at the bottom the bottom according to weather you want to export all or only selected branches of the registry.


Next select a location in which to save the backup .reg file. In the File name box, type a file name, and then click Save.




How to Restore the Registry


To restore registry keys that you exported, double-click the .reg file that you saved.
